I offer Reiki I and Reiki II certification classes several times a year, and currently take place on two consecutive Sundays. The next class dates are:
Reiki I ~ July 15 and 22, 2012

In Reiki I, we focus on the Self. We will learn the history of Reiki, how it came to the West from Japan, and how it has changed over the years. You will learn traditional meditation and awareness techniques, and the original philosophy of Reiki, as well as Western hand positions, and much more. And you will learn a system of personal practice that you can incorporate into your life in many ways, to make Reiki part of your day-to-day spiritual journey.
This is not an ordinary Reiki class – for two full days, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty and wisdom that is Reiki. We will use journaling, guided meditation, Reiju or spiritual blessings (the equivalent of attunements), and practice self-care and awareness as we open your path to Reiki with a broad and deep understanding of its roots and your own connection to it.
After you have met the requirements laid out in class, you will be eligible to receive Reiki I certification.
In Reiki II, we will continue the journey, learning full table positions, symbols, mantras and chanting and so much more. At this level, you will learn more about sharing Reiki with others. You will receive more Reiju, continue to use journaling and community sharing, and practice the traditional hand positions that have become part of the Reiki experience.
After you have met the requirements laid out in class, you will be eligible to receive Reiki II certification.
The cost of each Reiki class is $250. This can be payable through Paypal, using the buttons at left, and I also accept cash and checks. Space is limited, so please contact me if you want to reserve your spot.
Reiki is a wise teacher – it knows the wisdom that promotes taking care of Self before others. Self-Care is not selfish – it is vital. Come bring this wisdom into your life through the Reiki System.

Feeling spacey? Unfocused? Rushed and worried all the time? Who wouldn't be, in these challenging times? Come to Earthbound - Staying Grounded Moment to Moment. Learn empowering and practical ways to build your Grounding Toolbox, to connect you to The Earth ~ slow down ~ breathe and, as I am always saying, practice Self-Care! You must pre-register and pay in advance. This class is OUTSIDE, whether permitting, but in colder months, we will adapt the class for indoors. But we will always meet up at my office, then walk to The Green. When you register, I will let you know what the plan is ~ so bring friends and your journal for sure, and possibly sunscreen and something to sit on. Come join us!
